Wizorb’s 1st Anniversary!

September 28, 2012

Wizorb was first released on Xbox Live Indie Games last year, and today marks its 1st anniversary! To celebrate, we decided to drop the price of Wizorb to 80 points on Xbox Live Indie Games.

Wizorb Smashes Onto Steam!

March 14, 2012

Wizorb is finally coming out on Steam today and it launches at 10% off (which means that you get the game for only 2.69$). The Wizorb game page should go live as we speak, so go check it out!

The Steam version of Wizorb includes 20 achievements and now supports both English and French (vous pouvez maintenant sauver Gorudo en français!).

There’s also a new trailer for those not already familiar with the game:

This release also marks the beginning of new game projects. It’s still too early to reveal anything, but you can follow Tribute Games on Twitter or on our blog to get the latest news. Or you can simply keep checking my blog from time to time ^_^.

Buy Wizorb on Steam!

Knives Chau

February 13, 2011

I made this illustration of Knives for marketing purposes when I was working on Scott Pilgrim. I used a sketch drawn by Jonathan Kim as a basis for this (he made a whole bunch of concept art for Scott Pilgrim and it would have been awesome to release them with the game, but it didn’t happen…) Anyways, for some reasons the illustration was never used. I’m not entirely satisfied with it (her scarf bothers me a bit), but here it is!

Ninja Senki “Box Art”

November 13, 2010

Well, Ninja Senki won’t be packaged, so “box art” isn’t the proper term for this. This is the illustration for the upcoming Ninja Senki website, which will basically be a single web page with a download button at the bottom. It should be online in a couple of weeks.

Lowpoly Muscle Car

September 29, 2010

Almost 3 years ago, I made this lowpoly Camaro along with a pitch for a DS version of Driver. Sadly, the project went nowhere. This is highly inspired by some awesome low poly cars made by Kenneth Fejer, but this isn’t nearly as good. It’s still unfinished (I didn’t texture the bottom part of the car) and has a bit too many tris.

Galactic Mockup

June 7, 2009

Another idea I had before developing my actual shmup project was to make a character that could float using an anti-gravity suit. I also wanted to make the game entirely hand-drawn instead of doing pixel art. In the end, I couldn’t come up with anything good for the gameplay and the task of making high-definition graphics was really painful. The amount of work was too much for only one person and I also realized that what I really love to do is pixel art.

Therefore, I abandoned this idea. However, like I said in a previous post, I still plan to use the characters and the setting of this old idea for a future game project.
